The experience is relaxed and social. Both the camel and horse rides are short. Guests who prefer not to ride can participate fully in workshops, lunch, and music. Not suitable for guests with animal allergies or back problems.
Animal Welfare
Our camels and horses rest during the hottest hours and are cared for by experienced Bedouin handlers. All rides are short, weight limits are observed, and guests are welcome to spend time with the animals outside of riding.
Animals are cared for by Bedouin handlers with traditional expertise and undergo regular veterinary checks.
Sustainability
BADU operates with a leave-no-trace policy at Makadi Bay desert. Single-use plastics are not used at camp. Food is prepared fresh with local ingredients, and waste is composted. Every experience creates direct income for local Bedouin guides, cooks, musicians, and handlers.
