Why BADU is Different
This is not a standard quad-and-camel package. BADU's safari is built around the Maaza Bedouin tribe — a living cultural encounter where storytelling, animal ethics, and community benefit come first. The quad ride is the entry point; the village is the experience.

Accessibility
The quad bike requires basic physical ability and a minimum age of 5 (accompanied by an adult). The desert terrain is sandy and uneven. The camel ride and village visit are low-intensity. Guests with limited mobility can join the cultural portions without the quad.
Animal Welfare
Our camels rest during the hottest hours and are cared for by experienced Bedouin handlers from the Maaza community. Rides are short and gentle, weight limits are observed, and guests are welcome to meet and feed the animals.
Camel interactions follow Bedouin animal-care ethics developed over generations. Regular veterinary checks are conducted.
Sustainability
BADU operates with a leave-no-trace policy. The quad route follows traditional Bedouin tracks to minimise desert disturbance. We work exclusively with the Maaza Bedouin community, and every experience creates direct income for guides, storytellers, handlers, and village hosts. This experience was developed under the Maaza Colourful Cultures Hub initiative by Green Planet and TUI Care Foundation.

Then, visit a camel farm and learn about camel care and Bedouin animal ethics. Enjoy a gentle camel ride for photos and experience.
Finally, enjoy a traditional Bedouin welcome at the camp. Sip on Arabic tea and desert herbs, listen to live storytelling by Maaza tribe members, and learn about Bedouin traditions, navigation, food, and desert life. Enjoy a traditional bedouin breakfast.
