Accessibility
The horseback ride requires basic physical ability and is suitable for beginners with good upper-body stability. Not suitable for guests with back problems or mobility impairments. The cultural workshops and camel ride are low-intensity and accessible to most guests.
Animal Welfare
Our horses are well-trained and handled exclusively by professional Bedouin guides. Rides are conducted at a calm pace, weight limits are strictly observed, and horses rest during the hottest hours of the day. The short camel ride follows the same welfare standards.
All animals are cared for by experienced Bedouin handlers and undergo regular veterinary checks. Guests are encouraged to interact with the horses calmly and respectfully.
Sustainability
BADU operates with a leave-no-trace policy. Horse routes follow traditional desert tracks to minimise land disturbance. Single-use plastics are not used at camp. Every experience creates direct income for local Bedouin guides, horse handlers, cooks, and cultural hosts.
