The People Behind the Desert
Born in the shadow of the Eastern Desert, our founder Mahmoud Atiya grew up watching the sun paint the Red Sea hills in shades of gold and terracotta. What began as a childhood spent guiding family guests through the dunes outside Hurghada became a lifelong mission.
After years working with Egypt's leading eco-tourism associations, Mahmoud Atiya established BADU Experiences with one conviction: that authentic Bedouin hospitality, when shared responsibly, creates memories that outlast any five-star hotel.
Today, every experience we offer — from stargazing to camel rides at sunset — is guided by the same principle that shaped our family for generations: the desert deserves respect, and every guest deserves to feel its silence.
